The Pearl
The profession of pearl trading, a traditional profession that is specialized in the Gulf countries. The Tawash is the pearl trader who moves between diving ships in fishing sites to extract pearls from the depths of the sea. The Tawash also invented unique methods to classify, value and trade their precious goods, as each pearl was classified according to shape, size, degree of luster and color. From this, this design was inspired by our craftsmen shaping different shapes and colors from manufactured pearls.
